Just a little further down the track from our 'sister' house Finca Ximerri, our good friends and same very friendly owners have just finished this, their second beautiful house, specifically designed to maximise 'summer living'. From the time you enter through the electronic wrought-iron gates in the gravelled drive leading to this uniquely designed country villa, you feel you are at the start of your perfect holiday. Built to the very highest standards and with all the benefits of the surrounding beautiful, unspoilt countryside are the most magnificent views from the extensive five acre grounds, filled with mature almond, algarroba trees and sweet scented fig trees - you are welcome to 'pick your own'. The spacious and lavishly furnished accommodation has cooling terracotta tiles and oakbeamed ceilings throughout, providing a very relaxed summer ambience with the added benefit of full airconditioning. The grand pine front doors open to the reception area leading into the huge L-shaped living/dining room (approx 50m2) with satellite TV, video, CD music system, solid oak dining table with matching chairs, feature fireplace and three sets of French doors opening to the poolside and BBQ terraces. The large, very well designed, fully-fitted, modern kitchen is a chef's dream with every conceivable requirement including 'Miele' dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric oven/infra-red hob, fitted eye-level cupboards, twin sink unit and glass doorway opening to the main dining area with a side door to the BBQ terrace. One double bedroom with fitted wardrobes has pine bedside bookshelves, full en suite mosaic bath/shower room, ladies' vanity mirror and side door to the poolside terraces. The second bedroom has a full-size double bed, fitted wardrobes, pine bedside bookshelves and pleasing garden views. Bedroom three has twin beds, fitted wardrobes, fitted pine bookshelves and views to the pool. These two bedrooms share an adjacent Romanesquestyle fully tiled bath/shower room. Guests' cloakroom. From the main hall, marble stairs with wrought-iron railings, lead up to the first floor with two magnificent master bedrooms (one double and one twin). Each have individual styles and designs with the owners' 'avant garde' adorning the pastel coloured walls, fitted wardrobes, twin bedside bookshelves, romantic coved lighting, luxury en suite mosaic shower room. French doors open to your private furnished sun terrace, each with far-reaching uninterrupted views across verdant almond groves towards Santanyi, the hilltop monastery of San Salvador and the tranquil Cabrera islands, now a nature reserve, some 40 kilometres away. All rooms have individual air-conditioning control and central heating for early and late season lets. Outside the large L-shaped vine covered terrace (20m long) has manicured lawns gently sloping down to the superb new, mosaic floodlit pool with curved Roman steps and child's bench seat. Bamboo and cane chairs adorn the furnished sun terraces with reclining sunloungers, ideal for enjoying the glorious views across the open, tranquil countryside - very idyllic. The covered BBQ and al fresco dining terrace have poolside views and is also an ideal area for afternoon 'mint teas' or evening cocktails. The adjoining double garage houses the laundry area housing the washing machine and has a guest shower room/ WC.
