Villa Canaveret Petit is a new stone villa in a superb location in the Mallorcan countryside. It's a modern retreat, tucked away down a narrow lane and surrounded by farmland. It's completely peaceful here and the only neighbours are sheep and cockerels! But because the house is so near to both Pollenca and Puerto Pollenca, town and beach life are just a 10-minute drive away. The house has been built to a very high standard and inside it is a classic combination of modern design and traditional Mallorcan materials - dark wood and terracotta tiles with bright white-painted walls. There is a large kitchen with new wooden units and a breakfast table. Appliances here include a dishwasher, an oven and hob and a microwave. The lounge and dining room is an airy and elegant room with two large windows looking out on to the gardens and countryside around. There are comfortable sofas here and a darkwood dining table and chairs to seat eight people. On this ground level there's also a cloakroom. On the first floor there are four air-conditioned bedrooms: a double room, a single room, and two twin rooms. The two twin bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and both have doors out onto a terrace with splendid views over the surrounding fields and trees to mountains beyond and even down to the bay of Puerto Pollenca. The double bedroom also has lovely country views and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. Look out for the beautiful stained-glass window on this floor. There's also a family bathroom on this level with a bath and a shower and double sinks. In front of the house there are pretty and newly planted gardens with lawns, fig trees, almond, lemon and orange trees, and a lovely pool, feature barbecue and sun terrace. A covered terrace, with a pan-tiled roof, runs along the front of the house overlooking the pool and gardens. Villa Canaveret Petit is a lovely house which makes the most of its peaceful countryside setting. It's a great base for walking and cycling, days out to Pollenca and Puerto Pollenca or just relaxing by the pool.
