Can Marti is a very comfortable family home
which is well loved and looked after by the
owners Martin and Malena. It's in a picturesque
setting at the foot of the Puig de Maria mountain, in
sight of the monastery. Can Marti is just a few hundred
yards off the old Pollenca-Alcudia road, and so is just a
15-minute walk into the heart of the old town of
Pollenca, and a 10-minute drive to the beaches of
Puerto Pollenca.
There are lovely gardens at Can Marti with lots of lawns
and trees, and a children's play area with a slide and a
climbing frame. There's a huge covered patio area with
an impressive built-in stone barbecue with its own sink
and hob. There is also plenty of attractive seating and
furniture here perfect for a quiet read and for dining
al fresco style. The well designed large L-shaped pool
has a poolside shower and is in a separate area of the
garden through an attractive archway. There are also
electric gates to the house from the road which add to
the feeling of privacy here.
Inside the villa on the ground floor there is a family
dining-kitchen, with appliances including a dishwasher
and a microwave. There is a separate laundry room.
There's a lounge here too with another dining area. Also
on the ground floor there are two bedrooms - a twin
bedroom and a double bedroom with an en-suite
shower bathroom.
On the first floor there's a second and very comfortable
lounge with satellite television and a dvd player/cd
stereo. There's also a twin bedroom with a small rooftop
terrace with lovely views over the surrounding
countryside and mountains. The villa's second bathroom,
a shower bathroom, is also here on the first floor.
Can Marti is a great villa for family holidays in an
inspiring rural setting, yet it's just an easy walk from the
town of Pollenca and a short drive from beaches and
the resort of Puerto Pollenca.
