Pollenca Sleeps 6 
Set in a prestigious location within walking distance of Pollencas' excellent restaurants, this authentic Mallorcan villa is decorated to a high standard and has well-established gardens. Almost hidden from view by shaded trees, the villa Font d'en Borras is in a completely private rural and peaceful setting at the back of the prestigious La Font area at the foot of the mountains . The gated entrance leads into a gravelled parking area with a small lawn. The house itself is an authentic mallorcan home with natural stone exterior. The private pool is at the back of the villa down a lovely winding path and is kidney-shaped with roman and metal steps. It has a surrounding terrace for sunbathing and is situated amidst a cool, well-established rock garden filled with cacti, olive trees and leafy tropical palms giving plenty of shade. It is also great for children as it is full of hiding places and nooks and crannies. It has a separate covered barbecue area to one side with a patio for outside dining during the warm summer evenings. The house is delightfully decorated in country style with a large lounge / dining room prettily decorated with flowered cane sofas and bright cushions over bench window seats. It is a wonderful mixture of rustic stone walls, beamed ceilings combined with the cool comfortable interior dˇcor. There is a long dining table down one side of the lounge with wonderful large arched windows offering views that overlook the pool and gardens. The kitchen has a farmhouse feel but with marble surfaces and modern green washed units and from here there is a door to the front of the villa that leads to the utility area at the side. There are two cosy twin bedrooms inside the main house, (one has the beds pushed together ) and a bathroom situated between the two rooms that has a small half bath and shower. There is a third twin which is outside of the main house accessed by steps up to a higher level. This twin bedroom also has an en-suite shower bathroom. Due to the rock garden the area around the villa is probably unsuitable for the very elderly that have walking difficulties. An idyllic private setting for this high standard villa, but within walking distance of the Old Town of Pollenca and its' amenities. (air-conditioning in bedrooms for 2006)
