A comfortable family villa in the heart of the countryside near Pollença. Ca Na Jero is a very quiet and private house down a country lane. It’s surrounded by high hedges and has lovely open country views. It has a great family-friendly garden with plenty of lawns and space for relaxing or children’s play.

Inside, the house is comfortable and welcoming. It’s traditionally Mallorcan with beamed ceilings, terracotta-tiled floors and dark-wood furniture – but it’s also light and modern with white walls and neutral colours. The lounge and dining room is light and bright with arched windows. It has two sofas, a wood-burning stove, satellite tv and a dvd and stereo. There’s a large square kitchen with white units and a circular dining table and chairs.

The bedrooms are at the back of the house. There’s a double bedroom and two twin rooms, all with air-conditioning and lovely views over the garden. The bedrooms share a full bathroom with a bath and a shower, and a brand-new shower-bathroom. There’s useful extra space in the house on the mezzanine reading area. The stairs leading up to the mezzanine can be closed off from children with a safety-gate.

Outside, Ca Na Jero has a great garden with lots of lawn space, a long rectangular pool and a separate casita - a covered terrace building with a barbecue and a dining area. Another long covered terrace with a table-tennis table runs along the back of the house overlooking the garden and pool. The garden is full of colourful flowers and shrubs, cacti, ferns and palms, all surrounded by high hedges. There are lovely views from here across countryside to the Puig Maria mountain. There’s also an extra pool-bathroom with a shower and a wc.

This is a lovely family villa in a very peaceful and private area of the Pollença countryside. It’s looked after with love by owners Jero and Ramon - you’ll find lots of their paintings and Mallorcan ceramics around the house. It’s also very close to all the best things in this part of the island: Pollença, with its historic old town, and the beautiful sheltered bay of Puerto Pollença, are both a 7 minute drive from here.
